Congratulations to our 2024 Driver-of-the-Year – Jimmie Huffer from Mount Gilead, Ohio (50 miles north of Columbus).
Jimmie received this recognition Saturday night, December 7th, in Atlanta during the annual Usher Transport Christmas party.
Jimmie has been a company driver for more than 14 years. During his tenure, Jimmie has received numerous internal recognition awards such as Extra Mile Awards, and countless accolades from the customers he’s served over the years. You might recognize Jimmie as one of the “faces of Usher” on the company’s website. Jimmie is also one of an elite group of “Certified Driver Trainers” for the company as well as a highly respected member of the Usher Transport disaster recovery and relief team servicing multiple municipalities during hurricane events. Jimmie was part of the most recent round of hurricane relief efforts throughout the Gulf region this year.
